Angela has travelled extensively throughout the United States and Italy to study and observe Reggio-Inspired schools, enabling her to bring this natural and creative approach to your children. She has brought this approach to all aspects of her teaching career including her own Art With Angela studio for young children, and her work with the Montclair Art Museum and the Montclair Child Development Center.  

Art With Angela provides a safe and nurturing artistic environment for the young child inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach. Private Small Group Lessons are now being offered in Your Home

​Philosophy

Angela Gardner, MSEd, an artist and certified Early Childhood teacher, has worked with children in the Montclair community for over 17 years implementing the Reggio Emilia approach.  Angela believes that children are innately curious and offers opportunities for them to explore and express themselves through art.  She believes that children learn best through relationships and offers classes where children work in small groups on individual and collaborative projects.  In this way children learn to listen to different perspectives, thereby increasing creativity and building strong social skills.
